Villa Artemis is part of a unique project named “Paleros Bay Villas”. It is located above the bay of Paleros in Pogonia village , with stunning views of Paleros bay and the Ionian Islands. The peaceful beach of Pogonia is close by and within walking distance (100m).
The amazing colour of the Ionian Sea, being complimented perfectly by the lush coloured backdrop of the Acarnanian Mountains, gives a unique experience to be remembered.
As soon as you step over the threshold of this delightful villa you will enjoy the wide-open vistas down over the olive tree-carpeted hills and both the interiors and the ample terraced exteriors are imbued with an atmosphere of pure tranquility.
This villa’s charm lies in its clean interiors and effortless style inspiring ultimate recreation. The open-plan common areas connecting the living space with the kitchen and dining table extend to the main terrace and view, uplifting the soul. This luxury 1 bedroom villa can sleep up to 4 persons and is built on 2 levels. On the ground floor of the villa guests will find a spacious, open-plan living and dining area , fully-equipped kitchen , and a bathroom with a shower bath. The upper level has 1 open space bedroom with comfortable double king size bed and a spacious bathroom.
A cleaning service two times a week and a mid-week linen change.
The name of the villa derives from Ancient Greek name “Ártemis (Ἄρτεμις)”, which in turn derives from “árktos (Ἄρκτος)”, meaning “bear”. In turn the name means “strong as a bear”.
Artemis was one of the most widely venerated of the Ancient Greek deities. In the classical period of Greek mythology, Artemis was often described as the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo.
In art she was usually depicted as a young woman dressed in a short knee-length chiton and equipped with a hunting bow and a quiver of arrows. There are representations of Artemis as goddess of light while clutching two flaming torches.
